Things are ‘Hopping’ at the Library

The Lamb County Library has released their April newsletter. This month is full of new and exciting events! Hop over to the library to get into the spring of things!

The Library will be closed on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 for the Easter weekend and again Saturday, April 22..

Toddler Time was held Tuesday, April 4, with an Egg Hunt, at 9:30 a.m. Toddler Time is from newborns to two-years-old. The librarians would like to caution parents and guardians bringing newborns, as Toddler Time usually has an abundance of toddlers that join New to the schedule, CrafTea on Wednesdays, 3 to 5 p.m. Bring a Craft and Create while sipping Tea!

Teen Night will be meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Thursday, April 6, with an Egg Hunt Challenge!

The Lily Society, a Christian Women’s Book Club, will be meeting every other Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Thursday, April 13 the book will be

“The View From Rainshadow Bay”. On Thursday, April 27, the book will be “When Stone Wings Fly”.

Do you like to play games? On Thursday, April 13, a Scrabble Day will be held at 1 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 18, Pinata Day will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. Children ages 5 to 7 and 810 ONLY.

Home School Social will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26. This month be prepared for robotics and origami. Registration open until April 21.

On Saturday, April 29 a book signing will be held. Join us as Christian author Gayla Wood will be signing, reading from, and wlling her book “Cobwebs of the Christian Soul”.

Regular library hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
