The Hornet Harvest Festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 27th.
Line up for the parade will begin at 10 a.m. in the Elementary parking lot with the Parade starting down Main Street at 10:30 a.m.
At 11 a.m., Festivities will begin and vendors will open. The Hornet Hunt will begin, Cow Train will begin, their will be a performance by the cheerleaders and there will be a Quilt Show, Fish Fry and Pie and Ice Cream at the Senior Citi- zens Building.
( The Hornet Hunt is where you look for Hornet Bracelets with a Hornet Hunt tag hidden throughout the City Park and Parade on Sept. 27th. Each one is numbered and may be worth a free gift. Bring your found Tag to the Hornet Harvest Festival Tent to see what it’s worth.)
From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. sign-ups for the Cornhole and volleyball tournaments will begin.
The Coin dig will begin at 12:30 for ages 2-3; 12:45 for ages 4-5 and 1 p.m. for ages 6-7.
The 1st cornhole tournament and the volleyball tournament will begin at 2 p.m.
Bingo at the Senior Citizens building will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
An Alum meet and greet at Sudan ISD will be at 2:30 p. m. and the second cornhole tournament will begin at 3 p.m.
The Street Dance will be from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
