Safety prioritized as new school year begins

As school districts have begun or will begin a new year, public safety organizations are asking commuters to be more cautious.

With heavy traffic on main roadways along with school zones, being observant and cautious is encouraged as the first weeks of school can be chaotic.

Busses will be making their rounds in the morning and afternoons, drivers are asked to be courteous and patient as smaller students are helped off the busses prior to and after school.
