The Olton Mustang Band earned a I rating at the UIL Marching Contest held at the Capital Plains Bank Lowery Field in Lubbock on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Olton will be competing at the 2A Area Competition at Dick Bivins Stadium in Amarillo on Oct. 21st.

The Springlake-Earth Marching Band competed in the 1A UIL Regional Marching Contest at Lowery Field on Saturday, Oct. 14th. They earned a Superior rating from the judges earning them a spot in the State Marching Contest, which will take place in November down in San Antonio.
