What do you think about this Pandemic that has caused so much havoc?
It’s sad, the versions and comments we hear are so diverse, we hear things like: Where did it come from? How do we take care of ourselves and our family? What are the first symptoms?
It’s been more than 100 years since we had the last pandemic, which means a virus covering the whole planet. The medical field is not so advanced and also these viruses that become pandemic are not the same.
What should we do? The first thing I recommend is not to panic. This way our defenses are not affected. Also, even though you have been vaccinated, take care of yourself. Vaccine weakens Covid but it does not eliminate it. Take precautions when we go to a public place. One thing that is very important is to seek God’s protection and ask Him to give us wisdom to outlive this time which no one knows when it will end.
There are promises in the Bible that guarantees He will protect us. For example read Psalm 91:9-11. If you say: “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”
But then what happens? If we do not do our part. We simply tempt God, it’s like saying: He is obligated to protect us, no matter how we act.
I bless you and expect you do not go through the experience of contracting this virus.
