On Monday at the School Board meeting, the Olton Athletic Booster Clubs check to the Olton Athletic Program for $15,000 was approved.
Every year the OABC donates the money earned to the Athletic Program as a whole, so each sport can benefit.
OHS sports programs operate on limited budgets and need additional funding. The contributions OABC receives in a given year are derived from business sponsorships and fundraisers throughout the year.
The expenses include but are not limited to equipment, training, uniforms, software platforms, meals and transportation.
Our goals are to provide funding to support the best quality athletic programs & facilities, promote attendance at sporting events, and build school spirit within the student body and community.
