MITCH GRANT, Littlefield City Manager, was the guest program for the Littlefield Rotary Club at noon Thursday, Aug. 19. 2021. He presented the program for Johnny Williamson, who secured the program for the day. The city manager explained the City of Littlefield has $15 million in projects underway now, and $8 million of that is grant money the city has received. Those included the Aquatic Center project that is a couple of weeks away before they can plaster the pool; the currrent downtown street bump-outs; working on keeping the water wells in good shape, and some replacement of the pipeline into Littlefield; a need for new hangars at the Municipal Airport, important for businesses planning to come here.
