The Littlefield High School Marchin’ Cats had several band members that auditioned for the Region Honor Band on Dec. 13th. The following students all earned chairs in the Region Honor Band today: Alyson Hernandez, Bb Clarinet, 16th Chair; Caleb Caudillo, Tenor Trombone, 2nd Chair, Area Qualifier;Matt Rios, Euphonium, 1st chair, Area Qualifier, Jordan Randle, Percussion, 2nd Chair, Area Qualifier; Melany Marquez, Percussion, 10th Chair. Our 3 Area Qualifiers will participate in the Area round of auditions for the All-State Band on January 10, 2026. Our Percussionists also qualified for the Region 16 Percussion Ensemble, and will participate in the All-Region Jazz & Percussion Weekend on January 16-17 at SPC in Levelland. The Region Honor Band will rehearse and perform at the Lubbock Civic Center as part of the Region 16 All-Region Band Weekend on January 23-24.
