The Littlefield cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday.
The varsity boys finished 14th overall as a team, led by sophomore, Noah Villanueva, who finished 24th overall, clocking a time of 18:26.8.
Junior, Thomas Jasso, finished 73rd overall with a time of 21:01.1, while Isaac Mara finished 82nd overall with a time of 21:37.6, and sophomore, Anastasio Ayala, finished 91st overall with a time of 22:26.8. Seniors, Cesar Garcia and Brandon Marines, finished 98th and 99th, respectively with times of 22:58.3 and 22:59.4.
On the varsity girls side, the Lady Cats finished 19th overall as a team, led by freshman, Evelynn Castillo, who finished 54th overall with a time of 14:45.5. senior, Brinley Acevedo, finished 70th overall with a time of 15:17.5, while freshman,Anaei Ojeda, finished 82nd with a time of 15:44.5.
Freshman, Adrianna Caudillo, finished 86th with a time of 15:49.4, and freshman,Arian MacDonald, finished 123rd with a time of 18:20.0.
The Littlefield cross country teams will be competing at the LCU Chap Invitational on Sept. 14th.
