Littlefield Chevrolet Buick & GMC hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to welcome the new owner, Tim Capps to the Littlefield community. Members of the Littlefield Chamber of Commerce and Littlefield residents were also introduced to the new management at the dealership. The team members are Jeff Shelley, Torrie Tolbert, Brad Fowler and Melissa Gerik.

Following a meal catered by Locos Restaurant of Littlefield, the drawing was held to award a new car to one of five students who have achieved High Attendance in Littlefield High School. The drawing is a tradition begun by John Roley, which Tim plans to continue.

Mr. Capps makes his home in Kilgore, Texas with his wife of thirty-two years, Angie, in order to be near their children. They have two daughters who live in Edmundson, Oklahoma and Longview, Texas respectively. He spends between ten to 12 days every month in person at the dealership.

When asked what attracted him to the Littlefield Community, Mr. Capps stated that he and John Roley have been friends for fifteen years. He has long respected John Roley’s career as a car dealer and his service to his community. When Mr. Roley informed him of his upcoming retirement and offered him the opportunity to purchase the dealership, he accepted. Mr. Capps described the decision as a sound and easy decision, “a no-brainer, if you will”.

He and his new management team are determined to continue and to build on serving the Littlefield community for all their automotive needs and civic service as exemplified by John Roley and his excellent staff.
