Littlefield Chamber of Commerce Splash Bash: A Success

The Littlefield Chamber Board would like to sincerely thank each and every person for donating money toward the first School Supply Splash Bash. It was a great success. The Chamber Board served hot dogs, chips and bottled water to students and families as they entered the Littlefield Aquatic Center.

The school supply bundles were packed with the help of the local 4-H Club. The club was present during the cookout promoting their various programs for students to join.

The school supply bundles included two spiral notebooks, one 10-pack of pencils, one 10-pack of black pens, one 10-pack of blue pens and one 16- count Crayola Crayons.

The Chamber Board was able to handout approximately 175 bundles to students, ranging from pre-K to seniors. They did have school supplies left over and have divided the supplies into bins for each campus; primary, elementary, junior high and high school. They have placed a sign on each bin explaining the items were generously donated by the Chamber Business Members, with logos for each donor. The bin will remain in each campus’ office for students to have a free resource for additional supplies, should they run out during the year.

The Chamber Board would like to thank everyone for helping to make the splash bash a great event and helping get some much needed school supplies to the local students, as well as providing a hot dog meal.
