Lesser Prairie Chicken listed as Endangered, Producer Meeting

Local Blackwater Valley SWCD in conjunction with USDA-NRCS and Texas Parks and Wildlife are putting on a Lesser Prairie Chicken Listing Meeting on January 12, 2023 at 9 A.M. located at the Bailey County Electric CO-OP meeting room. Address for the building is 610 E American BLVD, Muleshoe, Texas.

There will be presentations given by both USDA-NRCS and Texas Parks and Wildlife about the recent listing of the Lesser Prairie Chicken, what you need to do to stay in compliance with the Endangered Species Act, and some options on how to stay in compliance.
