LEDC Type ‘B’ held meeting Wednesday

The Littlefield Economic Development Corporation Type B met at noon on August 11 th at the City Council Chambers.

Chairwoman Lottie Spencer called the meeting to order at 12:06 p.m. Mayor Eric Turpen led the invocation and Spencer led the pledge of allegiance.

There was nobody present for public comments and Retha Williams made the motion to approve the minutes from the Nov. 24, 2020, meeting and Spencer seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Treasuer Andrew Eisenwine was present to give the financial report. LEDC B funds were used to help pay debt on BCDC then TCCC-BCF. Now that it is paid in full, the funds can be used to pay debt on aquatic center. Then other quality of life choices can be made in the future.

Williams made the motion to approve the proposed budge for the 2021-2022 fiscal year with the amendment to not transfer funds to 08-Fund-TCCC-BCF but for aquatic center debt. Spencer seconded the motion. The motion carried.

Spencer made the motion to adjorn the metting at 12:15 p.m. and Eisenwine seconded the motion. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.
