On Tuesday, December 2, 2025 The Littlefield County Retired School Personnel Association will hold its monthly meeting. We will have a luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. in the First United Bank Reception Room. Those attending are asked to bring a salad. Also please remember that we are collecting toys to be delivered to children in Lamb County. Those toys may be delivered after the luncheon meeting.
Do you remember that we are supposed to keep track of our volunteer hours during the year? We cannot count more than 12 hours per day, but care of grandchildren or great grandchildren or driving someone to and from Lubbock are just two examples of time that can be counted. The time period is January to January. Please turn in your total hours to Cindie Walker at or before the January meeting. Our Association receives credit for the hours submitted.
Do you know that November is TRTA Foundation month? The monies are used to help current and former teachers. The Association donate $100 to the Foundation last month.
In January our speakers will be Judy Kennedy from Region XVII and Eric McKnight from TRTA Headquarters in Austin. They will be giving us information about TRTA and answering any questions we have.
Do you know that this year the State Conference will be Virtual, held on March 25? Delegates will be designated at the January meeting.
