The Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are hosting a local work group meeting at 9:30 a.m. on May 6, 2026, at the Lamb County Electric Co-Op, 2415 Phelps Ave, Littlefield, Texas.
The SWCD and NRCS are seeking local input from farmers, ranchers, private foresters, federal, state, and local government representatives alike to learn more about how to best serve local agricultural producers via Farm Bill conservation programs and technical assistance. Moreover, the meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss natural resource priorities and conservation activities and programs.
