The Lamb County Retired Teachers’Association will hold its September meeting on September 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Real Life Building of the Littlefield Methodist Church. All retired teachers are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The theme for this year will be “Building Bridges to the Future”. The program for the September meeting will be presented by President Cindie Walker and will be new information from the Texas Retired Teachers’ Association about membership and benefits. Mrs.
Walker will also give an overview of activities for Association members during the year.
Beginning at the October meeting, members are encouraged to bring toys to be distributed to local children at Christmas time. We will do the same at the November and December meetings.
One of the projects our Association supports is distributing books to the second grade students in the county. In April 2025 books will be distributed to students in the Sudan Independent School District.
