The Lamb County Retired School Personnel meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. The meeting will be held at the Littlefield Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Members are encouraged to attend. Please invite other retired school personnel to also attend.
The Program will be given by member Tim Walker. He will discuss the upcoming election which will be held in November. He will bring sample ballots and discuss voting information. It is very important that we vote YES or PRO on Proposition 9. This is the Cost of Living Adjustment which will benefit many retired school personnel. We hope you will contact voters you know and ask them to vote YES on Proposition 9.
One of the projects we support is Toys for Children at Christmas. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to this meeting.
Our group provides books for students in second grade in the various Lamb County Elementary school. We distribute the books in late April or May. Please bring a money donation to help us purchase books for these students.
