The November meeting of the Lamb County Retired School Personnel Association will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Littlefield Methodist Church.
The program will be given by Mitch McNeese, new Superinten-dent of the Littlefield Independent School District.
Members are reminded to bring a new unwrapped toy. The toys will be distributed at Christmas time.
Members are also reminded that we are collecting money to purchase books to be donated to second graders in the Springlake-Earth School District in April 2024.
It is very important that members vote in the upcoming election FOR Proposition 9. This is the Amendment that would provide a cost-of-living for certain retired teachers. Many of our fellow retirees receive $1000 or less each month in retirement.
