Lamb County has19 active COVID-19 cases

Lamb County Judge James M. DeLoach has issued an update on the COVID-19 virus cases in Lamb County, as of 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, Sept. 29, 2020.

He reported that there are 310 cases of the virus that have recovered, and are no longer monitored.

There have been only 23 deaths reported to his office.

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, Sept, 29, Judge DeLoach reported that there are 19 active cases, which include three at Amherst; 10 at Littlefield; three at Olton; one at Springlake; and two at Sudan

He explained: “I do not feel these numbers are totally accurate, but these are the numbers that have been confirmed positive by either our local Health Authority, or the DSHS.”

Last Tuesday, Sept. 22, he reported that Lamb County had 26 active cases, and there were 290 who had recovered. Since the pandemic began, there had been 23 deaths.

For the Sept. 22 report, Amherst had three cases, while Littlefield had 16, Olton had four, Springlake had one, and Earth had two. There were none reported for Sudan.
