Lamb County Grand Jury returns six indictments

The Lamb County Grand Jury for the January Term A.D. 2025 of the 154th Judicial District Court met on Friday, May 15, 2025, when six indictments were returned.

Jazel Mendez, 20, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of INJ Child/Elderly/Disabled 22.04(f) PENAL CODE FS, that occurred on or about the 10th day of April, 2025.

Their bond is set at $5,000. Jesus Manuel Saenz, 44, of Olton, was indicted on a charge of Unauth use of Vehicle 31.07 PENAL CODE FS, that occurred on or about the 9th day of April, 2025.

His bond is set at $3,500. Jesus Manuel Saenz, 44, of Olton, was also indicted on a charge of Evading Arrest Det W/ Veh 38.04(b)(2)(A) PENAL CODE F3, that occurred on or about the 9th day of April, 2025.

His bond is set at $7,500. Sebastian Lee Reyes, 31, of Levelland, was indicted on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated W/Child under 15 YOA 49.045(b) PENAL CODE FS, that occurred on or about the 29th day of March, 2025.

Jurisdictional Enhancements

And the vehicle operated by the Defendant was occupied by passengers younger than 15 years of age, namely R.M., L.D., and D.R.; State Jail Felonies (12.425)

And it is further presented that, before the commission of the charged offense, (hereafter styled the primary offense), on the 27th day of June, 2012, in cause number 10337-D in the 350th District Court of Taylor County, Texas, the defendant was finally convicted of the state jail felony of Burglary of a Building; 2. And it is further presented that, before the commission of the primary offense, on the 27th day of June, 2012, in cause number 10336D in the 350th District Court of Taylor County, Texas, the defendant was finally convicted of the state jail felony of Burglary of a Building;

3. And it is further presented that, before the commission of the charged offense, on the 16th day of December, 2024, in cause number 2014-403,180 in the 364th District Court of Lubbock County, Texas, the defendant was finally convicted of the felony offense of Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle.

His bond is set at $5,000. Jody Reyes, 49, of Portales, N.M., was indicted on a charge of Poss CS PG 1/1-B<1G 481.115(b) HEALTHAND SAFETYCODE FS, that occurred on or about the 12th day of March, 2025.

His bond is set at $5,000. Jaydrian Sae Gonzales, 24, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Assault Fam/House Mem Impede Breath/Circulat 22.01(b)(2)(B) PENAL CODE F3, that occurred on or about the 10th day of April, 2025.

His bond is set at $5,000 and he is to have no contact with the victim.
