The April meeting of the Lamb County Retired School Personnel Association will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Littlefield Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Speakers will be Ray Vargas, Littlefield High School Wood-Working Teacher, and Jenna Osborn, Littlefield High School Health Services Teacher.
President Cindie Walker will give a report on the TRTA Convention.
After the March meeting, members traveled to Amherst Elementary School to distribute books to the second-grade students. Because of the number of books collected, each student was able to select more than one book. Reports are that the students were very excited to have their “very own” books. Members then enjoyed fellowship and delicious food during lunch.
Members are reminded that dues are payable now. Please begin keeping track of your volunteer hours during the next months (total due in January 2027).
The May meeting will be held at Loco’s Restaurant and there will be an Installation of Officers. It will be Dutch Treat.
All retired School Personnel are invited to attend.
