Happy May everyone!
We had a fantastic April and hope you all did as well! We celebrated National Poetry Month with Pickles for every poem read to us by kids of all ages. You can see pictures and videos of some of our patrons that participated on our Facebook page. We also had a family movie night and watched Hop on our newly donated 75inch Roku TV! All donations are always greatly appreciated and put to good use for our community, no matter how big or small.
During the month of May, we will be celebrating National Harry Potter Day on May 1st, and National Make A Book Day on May 8th. For the rest of May, we will be preparing for our Summer Reading Program. You can sign-up your kids in person at the library or use the link on the flyer to sign up online. Our theme this year is “Color Our World”, and we plan on doing just that. We have tons of art projects planned, fun entertainment, guest hosts, and of course new books ready to go!
We will be posting our schedules for Summer Reading on our Facebook page and in the newspaper. We want to provide fun, educational, and safe activities for the children of our community throughout the summer, so please spread the word of our programs and let’s get these kids in the library!
