Lamb Co. Library has set Nov. Events

Happy November Friends!

Your local library had a great October, full of family fun events.

We hope everyone had a great time enjoying the Flatland Music Festival and we thank everyone who came to our Family Fun Festival event on the 4th. We enjoyed fresh popcorn, drinks, lots of games and the most popular, face painting by Sandra Ambriz. We had many inquiries on our face painter, so if you or anyone you know would like her information, you can contact us at the library, and we would be happy to pass her information along.

The rest of the month was spent with very good friends making fun Halloween crafts. We closed out the month with a booth at the pumpkin trail, along with a haunted walk-through and a spooky fun fest, where we played Halloween charades, pictionary, pass-the-pumpkin, and danced the monster mash.

This November we will continue with our annual sock drive to benefit the Salvation Army. We accept NEW PACKAGED socks of all sizes and colors. Donations can be dropped off in the library during normal business hours.

We will continue to have kids crafts every Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. These are come and go events, unless otherwise specified. Lastly, we will be observing Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11 and Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, therefore the library will be closed. Your support of our local library is greatly appreciated, and we will continue to work hard for our community and our wonderful patrons. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Don’t forget! A County Christmas Tree Lighting on December 1, 2025 at 6:00 p.m!! We’ll have cocoa, popcorn, a live nativity, and sing-along Christmas carols.
