Ian Cozart Signs with Western Equipment Company

The Littlefield High School student body and special guests, Claire Cozart, his mother and Doug Head, his father, and his FFA teacher Cody Spiers along with his Western Equipment sponsors Jim Sowder and Kayla Weaver attended the signing ceremony of Senior Ian Cozart with Western Equipment at the Littlefield High School gym on Wednesday, April 28, 2022.

The presentation was hosted by Western Equipment Director of Marketing , James Boone. Mr. Boone encouraged students to set a goal and work toward it. He also encourages them to consider vocational training as part of their future plans.

Ian is now an employee of Western Equipment LLC. He will be employed by his sponsor company John Deere/Western Equipment LLC. of Dimmit, Texas. His employer Jim Sowder manager and Kayla Weaver, Aftermarket Manager stated they are looking forward to Ian joining their team. Along with his guaranteed employment upon completion of his Associates Degree and Certification in Diesel Mechanics, Ian will receive $18,000.00 worth of tools and eligibility for pay bonuses so long as he is employed by Western Equipment.

Ian is active in Littlefield FFA, Wildcat football, and golf. He earned 1 ^st Team Alldistrict lineman in football. In FFA, he earned the Lone Star Degree, and TCFA Certification. He was also on the Judging Team. His agriculture teacher is Cody Spiers.

Ian plans to attend Garden City College in Kansas City, Kansas following graduation from Littlefield High School.
