THE SUDAN HORNETS varsity baseball team won the 2023 Shorty Barlow Springlake-Earth Baseball Classic on Saturday. They defeated Muleshoe JV on Thursday, 20-8, to open tournament play. On Friday, the Hornets took down Roby, and on Saturday they defeated Crosbyton to win the Championship.
