Grand Jury returns 18 indictments

The Lamb County Grand Jury met Wednesday, July 7, 2021, and returned a total of 18 indictments on 12 individuals for Lamb County’s 154th District Court. Three of the individuals each received two indictments.

Cesar Garza Sandoval, 44, of Olton, was indicted on a charge of Burglary of a Building, that occurred on or about the 20th day of March 2021. Bond was set at $3,500.

Two indictments were returned on Tonya Jean Nance, 48, of Littlefield. The first was on a charge of Evading Arrest and Detention with a Vehicle, with Previous Conviction. Bond was set at $5,000, on that charge.

The second was on a charge of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. Both charges occurred on or about April 24, 2021. Bond was set at $3,500 on that charge.

Two indictments were returned on Davey Low Perez, 27, of Littlefield. The first was on a charge of Assault on a Family Household Member, with Previous Conviction, and the second indictment was on a charge of Assault on a Family House Member by Impeding Breath and Circulation. Both charges occurred on May 15, 2021.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victim. Bond was set at $15,000 for each indictment charge.

Jeffery Lewing Hudson, 60, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Civil Commitment Requirement, that occurred on or about the first day of May, 2021. Bond was set at $5,000.

Ivan Alonso Macias Chacon, 36, of Earth, was indicted on a charge of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, that occurred on or about May 4, 2021. Bond was set at $25,000, and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Michael Phillip Sanchez, 37, of Earth was indicted on a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance, one gram or more, but less than four grams of Methamphetamine, that occurred on or about March 10, 2021. Bond was set at $5,000.

Zachary Alan Viselli, 42, of Pflugerville, was indicted on a charge of Possession of Marijuana, 2,000 pounds or less, but more than 50 pounds. Bond was set at $25,000.

Michael Payan-Mendoza, Jr., 28, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Assult on a Family House Member by impeding breath and circulation, that occurred on or about June 20, 2021. Bond was set at $5,000, and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Lucedo Esperansa Escalona, 20 of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Fraud Use, Possession of Identifying Info by Items, that occurred on or about March 11, 2021. Bond was set at $5,000.

Casandra Gonzales, 25, of Earth, was indicted on a charge of Possession of less than one gram of Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $3,500.

Christopher Michael Marez, 42, of Sudan, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, One gram or more, but less than four grams of Methamphetamine, that occurred on or about Feb. 27, 2021. Bond was set at $5,000.

Creston Jade Standard, 32, of Sudan, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, that occurred on or about May 10, 2021. Bond was set at $5,000.

Alexandra Patrocina Esco-bedo, 27, of Littlefield, was indicted on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than one gram of Methamphetamine, that occurred March 10, 2021. Bond was set at $3,500.

Victor Casares, 43, of Olton, was indicted on a charge of Criminal Mischief and Damage and Destruction of property of a church, that occurred on or about Feb. 20, 2021. Bond was set at $3,500.

Two other indictments were returned, but the individual had not been arrested, at press time Tuesday.
