Kathie Melton, the volunteer coordinator for the construction of a courtyard project for Arbor Grace Wellness Center Nursing Home, has announced that a special “Meet and Greet Event” has been scheduled for the public to meet the new administrator, Rose Rendon, volunteers, and staff.
The event is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Arbor Grace Wellnes Center, 1241 W. Marshall Howard Blvd., in Littlefield.
Melton is spearheading the fund raising events to raise the funds for the construction. The “Meet and Greet” is the second and third phase of the fund raiser.
Monetary donations, clothing, garage sale-type items for the yard sale; are currently being accepted, along with bids on silent auction items; opportunities to buy bricks for the memorial, are all to be finalized on June 4.
This fund raiser is hosted by Arbor Grace Wellness Center, where families become the fami-lies of Arbor Grace, and everyone helps in building a courtyard for the deserving residents.
