A special fund has been set up at the First United Bank in Sudan, to benefit Sgt. Shawn Wilson.
Also, a special fund-raising event honoring Sgt. Wilson will be held Sunday, Aug. 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Sudan Fire Department.
Everyone interested is invited to “go grab a hamburger and all the fixings that Sunday, and pick up something from the bake sale/ cake auction, for dessert.”
The meal is by donation only and all proceeds will go to benefit Sgt. Shawn Wilson, who was injured in the line of duty on Friday, July 16, 2021.
