Dixie’s Too Restaurant serving food by new owner

Jose Alfredo Sanchez is the new owner of the Dixies Too Restaurant here in Littlefield, after its original owner has retired.

Jose, a former resident of Littlefield, graduated from Presidio High School in Presidio, Texas in 1976. He also attended and graduated from college in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1995, with a Degree in Engineering Agriculture.

He previously lived in Littlefield for four years, and was employed by the Continental Dairy Facilities Southwest during that time, after which he moved back to Denison where his family resides.

During his employment with the Continental Milk Facility, Jose became friends with the former owner of the Dixie’s Too Restaurant, and when the owner retired, Jose became interested in purchasing the restaurant. Jose said he felt like it was an excellent investment — plus he really likes the items on the menu real well.

When asked about his plans for the future of the restaurant, Jose replied: “I really like the property and I want to keep the restaurant going and eventually I would like to add a storage facility behind the restaurant to house all of the restaurant’s supplies and daily needs.”

We wish Jose and his staff all the best in their new venture.
