With the Texas Constitutional Amendment Election rapidly approaching, the Lamb County Election Administration reminds the public that the deadline to register to vote in the November 2 election will be 5 p.m. October 4.
Registration applications are available online at www.votetexas.gov/register.
The form can be filled out online, printed, signed and needs to be mail to the local Voter Registrar office: Voter Registrar, Brenda Goheen, Lamb County Courthouse, 100 6 th Drive Room 105, Littlefield, Texas, 79339.
Voter registration applications are also available at the Tax Office, located in the Courthouse at 100 6 th Drive Room 105, Littlefield. The requirements to be eligible to vote include:
—United States citizen;
–Resident of the county you are registering in;
—18 years of age or older on Election Day;
—Not a convicted felon; and
—Not declared by a court to be either totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.
