DEFERREDADJUDICATION On Sept. 14, 2022, Adam Rueben Garcia entered a guilty plea to the offense of Sales to Minors - Alcohol, that occurred on June 23, 2022.
In exchange for the defendant’s plea, the State recommends that the Court find that there is evidence to substantiate a finding of guilt, but defer that finding for the period of time indicated. Further that the defendant pay the find, court cost and restitution as shown herein.
The defendant was placed on deferred Adjudication Community Supervision for one year and also has to pay a fine of $500 and $270 for court costs.
On Sept. 13, 2022, Kimberly Star Delarosa entered a guilty plea to the offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury, that occurred on Dec. 24, 2019.

Waiver of Jury Trial On Sept. 28, 2022, Charles Jordan Dickerson, entered a Guilty plea to the offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member, that occurred on Dec. 25, 2021.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the County Jail. The defendant was given 64 days of total jail time credit.
He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270 and Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $350.
On Sept. 28, 2022, Charles Jordan Dickerson, entered a Guilty plea to the offense of Interfering with Emergency request for assistance, that occurred on Dec. 25, 2021.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the County Jail. The defendant was given 64 days of total jail time credit.
He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270 and Reimbursement Fees in the amount of $350.
On Sept. 13, 2022, Christopher Ray Trevino, entered a Guilty plea to the offense Driving While Intoxicated, that occurred on Jan. 10, 2020.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 45 days confinement in the County Jail, but the Sentence of Confinement was suspended, and the defendant was placed on Community Supervision for two years.
He is ordered to pay fines in the amount of $1,000, restitution in the amount of $60 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.
On Sept. 12, 2022, Randy Simmons, entered a Guilty plea to the offense of Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport, that occurred on Aug. 21, 2022.
The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 23 days confinement in the County Jail. He was given 23 days of total jail time credit He is ordered to pay Court Costs in the amount of $270 and Reimbursement fees in the amount of $350.
MOTION TO DISMISS On Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Randy Simmons, for the reason: “Plea bargain – plea in CCR-18041 with punishment assessed.” The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 12th day of September, A.D. 2022, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.
On Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Petra Moreno, for the reason: “It best serves the interest of justice and other: Unable to locate defendant.”
The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on the 29th day of September, A.D. 2022, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.
