Waiver of Jury Trial

On Dec. 1, 2025, Santiago Gallegos, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Driving While Intoxicated, that occurred on Oct. 5, 2025.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 58 days confinement in the County Jail. The defendant was given 58 days of total jail time credit towards incarceration, fines and costs.

On Dec. 1, 2025, Ronald Ray Riggs, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Assault Causes Bodily Injury, that occurred on April 9, 2025.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the County Jail. The defendant was given 193 days of total jail time credit towards incarceration, fines and costs.

On Dec. 1, 2025, Zyyda Dehann Zamora, entered a Guilty plea to the offense for which he was convicted: Driving While Intoxicated BAC >=0.15, that occurred on August 30, 2025.

The court received the plea, judged the defendant was guilty, the defendant was sentenced to 90 days confinement in the County Jail, but the sentence of confinement was suspended and the defendant was placed on Community Supervision for two year.

She is ordered to pay Fines in the amount of $100 ($6,000 Suspended), Restitution in the amount of $60 and Court Costs in the amount of $270.

Motion to Dismiss

On Monday, November 17, 2025, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Jose Ascencion Salas, for the reason: “it best serves the interests of justice.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on November 17, 2025, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.

On Thursday, November 20, 2025, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against John Earl Alexander, for the reason: “the defendant was found guilty in DCR-6515-25 and punishment accessed.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on November 20, 2025, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2025, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Victor Rajjaunh Harvey, for the reason: “request of complainant and Defendant has been sentenced to serve time in TDCJ – ID in Cause No. DCR-6186-21.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on November 17, 2025, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.

On Monday, December 1, 2025, a request from the Lamb County District Attorney’s office, that the court dismiss the criminal action against Victor Barrera, for the reason: “ plea bargain – plea in CCR-18315 with punishment assessed.”

The judge’s order of dismissal states: “The foregoing motion having been presented to me on December 1, 2025, and the same having been considered, it is, therefore Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the above styled and numbered case be and the same is hereby Dismissed.
