ECORDS Waiver of Jury Trial On Aug. 10, 2022, Adam Aguilar entered a guilty plea to the offense of Assault causes bodily injury, that occurred on Jan. 11, 2021.

In exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea, the state recommends that the defendant be assessed punishment, fines, cost, restitution and findings as herein indicated.

Found to be guilty by the court, she was fined $500, and is also ordered to pay court costs in the amount of $270.

On Aug. 10, 2022, Jesus Mariso Ornelas entered a guilty plea to the offense of Possession of Marijuana <2oz, that occurred on June 11, 2022.

In exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea, the state recommends that the defendant be assessed punishment, fines, cost, restitution and findings as herein indicated.

Found to be guilty by the court, he was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the County Jail. The sentence of confinement was suspended, defendant placed on Community Supervision for one year. He is also ordered to pay a $750 fine and court costs in the amount of $270.

On Aug. 3, 2022, Dominic Goodrich entered a guilty plea to the offense of Failing to Identify giving false/fictitious info, that occurred on Nov. 27, 2021.

In exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea, the state recommends that the defendant be assessed punishment, fines, cost, restitution and findings as herein indicated.

Found to be guilty by the court, he was sentenced to 30 days confinement in the County Jail and he was given 202 days of total jail time credit. He is also ordered to pay court costs in the amount of $270.

Motion to Dismiss On Aug. 15, 2022, the Lamb County Court heard the motion of the County/ District Attorney to dismiss the above styled and numbered cause on the grounds of this case was taken into consideration under Section 12.45 with Defendant’s plea of Guilty in Cause Number 211010144 in the 286th District Court of Hockley County, Texas.

Appearing that the motion should be granted, the court ordered, Adjudged and Decreed bu the court that the above styled and numbered cause be dismissed and that the defendant, Cory Shane Strickland be discharged.
