MOTION TO DISMISS
On July 12, 2022, the Lamb County Court heard the motion of the County/District Attorney to dismiss the above styled and numbered cause on the grounds that the defendant plead guilty and was assessed a penitentiary sentence in Cause No. 2019-418,414 in the 364 th District Court of Lubbock County, Texas.
Appearing that the motion should be granted, the court ordered, Adjudged and Decreed bu the court that the above styled and numbered cause be dismissed and that the defendant, Samuel Joe Lewis be discharged.
On July 12, 2022, the Lamb County Court heard the motion of the County/District Attorney to dismiss the above styled and numbered cause on the grounds that it best serves the interests of justice and request of complainant.
Appearing that the motion should be granted, the court ordered, Adjudged and Decreed bu the court that the above styled and numbered cause be dismissed and that the defendant, Alyssa Salazar be discharged.
WAIVER OF A JURY TRIAL
On July 12, 2022, Raymond Murray Southcote entered a guilty plea to the offense of Driving While Intoxicated, that occurred on July 3, 2019.
In exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea, the state recommends that the defendant be assessed punishment, fines, cost, restitution and findings as herein indicated.
Found to be guilty by the court, he was sentenced to three days confinement in the County Jail and has been given one day of total jail time credit. He is also ordered to pay court costs in the amount of $270.
