154TH DISTRICT COURT Waiver of Jury Trials

On Dec. 14, 2021, Lonnie J. Griggs waivered a jury trial following an indictment charge of Aggravated Assault Causes Servious Bodily Injuries, that occurred April 12, 2017.

He entered a guilty plea to the second degree Felony charge, and the court adjudged the defendant to be guilty of the offense, and was sentenced to three years of confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice, to begin Dec. 14, 2021.

On Dec. 16, 2021, Victor Rajjaunh Harvey waivered a trial by jury, and entered a guilty plea to the third-degree felony indictment charge of Assault on Family Household Member, with previous conviction, that occurred Aug. 17, 2021.

The court adjudged the defendant to be guilty of the offense, and was sentenced to begin 10 years of confinement in TDCJ-ID, on Dec. 16, 2021.

On Dec. 16, 2021, Marciano Roberto Menchaca waived a jury trial, and entered a guilty plea to the state jail felony indictment charge of Forgery of a Finanial Instrument, that occurred July 13, 2020

The Court adjudged the defendant to be guilty of the offense, and on Dec. 16, 2021 was sentenced to 12 months’ confinement to TDCJ-State Jail.

Judgment revoking supervision

On Dec. 21, 2021, Maria Christina Lopez was charged with the State Jail Felony offense of Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >1 G, that occurred Sept. 24, 2016.

Her Community Suvervision was revoked and she was sentenced to 18 months confinement in TDCJ-State Jail, and is to pay $24 court costs and reimbursement fees in the amount of $450.
