Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 10–item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.

After the Call to order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items. (3 minutes max) The items listed as “Consent Agenda Items” require no deliberation by the Court. Each Court member has the prerogative of removing an item from that agenda, so that it may be considered separately.

The six Consent Agenda items to be considered are: a) Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s). b)Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line-item transfers; c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor; d) Consider and take appropriate action on payroll; e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports. f) Consider and take appropriate action Certification of Grant Revenue after the start of Fiscal Year-VCLG 2022; g) Consider and take appropriate action on Special Budget for Grant Revenue Received after the start of the Fiscal Year- VCLG FY 2022; 4. Consider and take appropriate action on Emergency Budget Amendment PCT 3 FY 2022; 5. Consider and take appropriate action on Burn Ban; 6. Discuss Lamb Healthcare operations; 7. Future agenda items; 8. Executive Session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, and pursuant to Government Code 551, Sub-Chapter D; 9. Consider and take appropriate action on appointment of Hospital Board Members; 10. Adjournment The Commissioners Court may take action on any of the above items. The Commissioners may meet in Executive Session on any of the above items as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, and pursuant to Government Code 551, sub-chapter D.
