Commissioners to meet Monday

A meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 11 2022, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 15-item agenda will be considered.

The items listed as “Consent Agenda Items” require no deliberation by the Court. Each Court member has the prerogative of removing an item from that agenda, so that it may be considered separately.

After the Call to Order, the public may request to make a public comment on any of the agenda items. (3 minutes max).

AGENDA

The six Consent Agenda items to be considered are:

a) Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s).

b)Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line-item transfers;

c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor;

d) Consider and take appropriate action on payrolls;

e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports.

f) Consider and take appropriate action on donations for the Lamb County Library.

4. Presentation from Resound Networks on County Internet access;

5. Consider and take appropriate action on policy for hadling request for soil conservation and dirt work from County residents.

6. Consider and take appropriate action on soil conservation in Precinct 1.

7. Consider and take appropriate action on Lease-Purchase of maintainer for Pct. 4. Purchase of CAT 140 Motor Grader (New).

8. Consider and take appropriate action on acception of the resignation of Lamb County Library Director..

9. Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.074, 551.0745 to discuss personnel issues.

10. Discuss Lamb Healthcare Center operations.

11. Future Agenda Items.

12. Adjournment.

The Commissioners Court may take action on any of the above items. They may meet in Executive Session on any of the items as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, and pursuant to Government Code 551, sub-chapter D.
