The Lamb County Commissioners convened for a Special Business Session Friday, April 8, 2022, in their meeting room of the Lamb County Courthouse.
Participating in the meeting were James M. DeLoach, Lamb County Judge, presiding, and Cory DeBerry, Precinct 1 Commissioner; Kent Lewis, Precinct 2 Commissioner; Danny Short, Precinct 3 Commissioner; and Barbara Sales, Deputy County Clerk and ex-officio clerk of the Commissioners’ Court, when the business was transacted.
ORDER NO. 1: Judge James M. DeLoach called the meeting to order.
ORDER NO. 2: Consider and take appropriate action on the adoption of a uniform policy and procedure for Applications made for Temporary Road Closures in Lamb County;
A Motion was made by Commissioner Danny Short and seconded by Commissioner Cory DeBerry to approve the adoption of a uniform policy and procedure for Applications made for Temporary Road Closures in Lamb County. The vote being called for and all voting Aye, the motion carried and so ordered.
ORDER NO.3: Consider and take appropriate action on a request made pursuant to Texas Transporation Code §251.158 for temporary closure of a county road, for a civic event or outdoor festival;
A Motion was made by Commissioner Cory DeBerry and seconded by Commissioner Kent Lewis to approve a request made pursuant to Texas Transporation Code §251.158 for temporary closure of a county road, for a civic event or outdoor festival. The vote being called for and all voting Aye, the motion carried and so ordered.
