23RD AND FARWELL—The pipe shown crossing 23rd Street at Farwell Avenue in Littlefield has been damaged twice, due to drivers ignoring the warning cones set in place to protect the auxiliary pump and the pipe. Drivers are reminded that red warning cones are set in place for a reason. To remove or move cones is a criminal offense which carries a substantial fine. If a person is injured as a result of driving through or removing cones in a construction zone, it is a felony.
