The Littlefield Chamber of Commerce is holding a parade, which will take place on Saturday, July 9 th , at 10 a.m.
The parade is a free, familyfriendly event. The Littlefield Chamber of Commerce wishes to extend this opportunity to advertise and support our local businesses, first responders, organizations, sports teams, band and cheerleaders.
Parade entries are encouraged and recommended to be patriotic themed. The parade will not be used as a platform for special interests. Entries of a controversial nature will not be allowed to participate. Parade entries and participants must be “Family Friendly” and appropriate to be seen by all ages.
Problems or questions that may occur will be resolved by the Littlefield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The Littlefield Chamber of Commerce will be the sole arbiters of whether your entry meets parade requirements, and reserves the right to refuse participation to any entry at its sole discretion, including, but not limited to, any entry containing political and social statements or issues.
Any animals participating must be harnessed or leashed for public safety. All vehicle drivers must have personal liability insurance and have a copy present during the parade. A fully executed indemnity form must be provided for your entry’s participation before the parade, preferably when turning in entry form. All parade entries must be compliant in lineup before parade, we reserve the right to shuffle the order of the parade for better flow.
The Parade line-up will take place around Laguna Park and the parade will proceed down West 3 rd Street, turning right onto Phelps Avenue to begin the parade. The parade will go down Phelps Ave. towards the Lamb County Courthouse.
Get your Parade Entry Form, Parade Guidelines and an Indem nity Agreement from the Chamber of Commerce. Forms were due on Friday, July 1 st to chamberlittlefield@gmail.com.
There will also be a “block party” style grand opening after the parade for Cricket Wireless.
