Chamber of Commerce to Celebrate 70 Years, Annual Banquet set for Thursday, April 24th

The Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 70 years of organization this year. That is seven decades of celebrating business, agriculture, and community members across Littlefield and Lamb County. The Chamber is honored by the community support in the past, from businesses and individuals. Success is unachievable without the support of the community.

The last couple of years have been a growing curve for the Chamber as it has navigated a pandemic and experienced a change of Board of Directors. It has made it its number one priority to bring the organization back to life and show value in membership. One of its biggest areas of focus this year is to bring back the longstanding tradition of the Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet. Since 1955, the Chamber of Commerce has been hosting this annual event, presenting awards to recipients and providing an evening of fellowship and community togetherness. It feels it is important to return to its roots and celebrate each other. One way community members can help is to nominate those individuals, families, and businesses that they feel are making an impact on the community in one way or another.

The Chamber knows it is important to evolve as technology advances and is excited to provide a website available to the community and visitors as a way to advertise upcoming events and local business services. More information will be coming about that soon.

The Littlefield Chamber of Commerce cannot continue to exist without community support and involvement. If individuals feel led to serve their community as members of the Chamber Board of Directors, they are encouraged to reach out. There are seats available, and the Chamber is open to any new and fresh ideas. The Chamber hopes that everyone will mark their calendars for Thursday, April 24, 2025, to attend the banquet
