The Caregiver Program through South Plains Association of Governaments (SPAG) provides services to individuals 60 years of age in the 15-county region.

A brief overview of Caregiver Program Services is outlined here to advise some of what the Caregiver Program provides. It supports families to assist them in maintaining their caregiver roles. The caregiver must be 18 years of age and the care recipient must be 60 years old and older.
Services provided are:
• Respite Care Vouchers, service is provided on a temporary basis, while the caregiver is unavailable, or needs relief; the caregiver is responsible for choosing a respite provider.
• Minor Residential repair services such as wheelchair ramps, heating and cooling and plumbing repairs. Must be homeowner.
