The South Plains Association of Governments Area Agency on Aging is excited to announce its 11th Annual Caregiver Conference, scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The conference will take place at the Museum of Texas Tech located at 3301 4th Street in Lubbock, TX.
This FREE event is open to the public, with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. and lunch provided. The conference features esteemed speakers, including Tam Cummings discussing the importance of good nutrition in aging and dementia care, Jennifer Alvarez presenting a nutrition guide for older adults and caregivers, and Maricella Salinas showcasing the evidence-based initiative “Matter of Balance” to reduce fall risk in older adults.
