Ben Diaz leads the field in Big Bracket Challenge

The wild 2023 Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament continued this past weekend with the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 providing some more “March Madness”.

There are no perfect brackets left after a wild first four rounds. Our Big Bracket Challenge had 24 people in the field this year.

Through the Elite 8, Ben Diaz leads the field with 65 points, followed by Janet Conkin and Lonnie Neinast are tied for second with 60 points each and Oscar Sanchez who is in fourth place with 57 points. Martin Duran is close behind with 55 points.

The rest of the individual results are as follows: Ed Dabrowski, Hannah Conkin and Robert Conkin are tied with 54 points, while Vincent Rosales has 51 points and Teresa Dabrowski has 48 points. Lauren Petty and Mary Fuentes are tied with 47 points, while Brett Neinast has 46 points, John Hernandez, Richard Carter and Tammy McDaniel are tied with 44 points and Brenden Carter and Brooke Boeckmed are tied with 43 points.

Brian Conkin, Larry Ashley and Michael McDaniel are tied with 40 points, while Zeb Petty has 39 points, Marisa Lopez has 38 points, Tara Lawson has 37 points and Alicia Ramon rounds out the field with 23 points.

The Final Four is set for Saturday, April 1st, followed by the Championship game on April 3 to close out the tournament.
