November 16, 2023, Littlefield Jr High School competed for a seat in the ATSSB Junior High All-Region Honor Band competition, held at Hale Center High School. Twenty seventh and eighth grade band students competed for a seat in this band. Eighteen of the twenty made it. Their music is difficult, so they were prepared and did well. Congratulations to this group!

Proudly, we announce that nineteen of these students earned a seat in this All-Region 3A-4A Band. We will be taking a total of 37 junior high students to perform in both All-Region Bands! Students include the following: Flute: Isaihla Garza, Abigail Johnson, and Marisa Castro Clarinet: Jordan Pennington, and Brenna Lowe Trumpet: Nalia Cleveland, Adrianna Caudillo, Kevin Cruz, London Taylor, and Kyla Stallings French Horn: Kaylee Medina, and Abigail Rodriguez Trombone: Jazmin Almance, and Adyleigh Rodriguez Baritone: Anela Lucero Tuba: Adrian Candelario, and Carlos Almance Percussion: Craig Jennings Saturday December 9th, 17 Littlefield High School students competed for a seat in the ATSSB 2024 All-Region High School Honor Band. Congratulations to all 17 students. They earned a seat in the All Region Honor Band. The competition for honor band is the only pathway to earning a seat in the coveted ATSSB All State Band. Twelve band students advanced to the next level of competition. By placing in the top seats in each instrumental section, a pathway to the All- State Band could be achieved.
