Arbor Grace holds fundraiser for Memorial Wall

A fund raiser for the Memorial Wall of Arbor Grace was conducted on the grounds of Arbor Grace Wellness Center Saturday, June 4, 2022.

The event featured a Bounce House for children, a Kettle Corn Trailer provided by Kettle Corn for a Cause and Wrench It Forward, lunch served by Arbor Grace, a silent 50/50 auction, a garage sale, speakers, and live music.

Wrench It Forward is a 501(c)(3)Non-Profit aimed to move people out of poverty and homelessness by providing lowcost automotive repairs for households with limited means. Their mantra is “Repairing Vehicles, Restoring Hope”. More information and applications can be found on their website wrenchitforwardlbk.org.

Music was provided by Fernando Rodriguez aka “DJ Proverbs” along with a brief message. Also performing was the High Plains Cowboy Church Band from Levelland, Texas. Band members are LaDonna Click-Maynard and vocals, Jeff Lungford-lead guitar, Steve Valderas -rhythm guitar and vocals, Clint Oliver-Bass guitar and harmony, and George Ray-Drums and harmony.

Kathy Melton has a history with Arbor Grace Wellness Center and she along with Assistant Volunteer Coordinator, Anna Arguerro, the staff and volunteers, are working to raise money for a Memorial wall to honor loved ones who have passed on.
