Anton ISD Paw-sitive Staff Shoutout

My name is Anita Rogers, and I have been an educator for 37 years. I have taught at Anton ISD for 35 of those years, with my first two years spent teaching at Tulia ISD. I have taught Kindergarten, Math Intervention, and Elementary special Education. I am a certified Dyslexia Therapist. I later earned my master’s degree from West Texas A&M University as an Educational Diagnostician. I now serve as the district’s Special Education Director, Dyslexia Therapist and ESL Bookkeeper. Anton ISD has been a meaningful part of my life for many years, and I am now teaching my second generation of students. I enjoy the smalltown atmosphere.

I am married to my husband, Randal Rogers. We enjoy spending time with our family, traveling and going to estate sales. I also enjoy reading and crossstitching. I have twin sons, Cody and Carson DeFever. Cody is married to McKenna. Together Randal and I have 4 kids, a daughter-in-law, a son-inlaw and 2 grandkids.
