    The Early Risers Lions Club held an annual Chicken Fry supper on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 before the Littlefield-Lamesa Homecoming game. The club fed the community and the Lamesa band, football team and cheerleaders. They cooked approximately 670 chicken-fried steaks with only a handful left over at the end of the night.

    The club had a successful event and could not have done it without the support of the community. The money raised allows the club to continue providing vision exams, eyeglasses, coats for LISD students and scholarships to the Queen and Sweetheart.

    The Early Risers Lions Club would like to thank everyone who came out on Friday and they appreciate the support.
