“The Armor of God” is the theme of the Amherst Community Vacation Bible School, which is being sponsored by Amherst’s First Baptist Church, Methodist Church and Rocky Ford Churches.
The use of masks will be voluntary, and will not be required.
Classes are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, through Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Methodist Church, 508 Washington Ave., in Amherst.
Classes are to begin at 5:45 and continue until 8 p.m. all three evenings.
Classes are designed for children in age groups of Kindergarten thru Fifth grades, who will learn how to “Put on the Armor of God”.
They will also be enjoying crafts, food, fun, and music.
The children are invited to take some coin change, to help Amy, the Missionary who is serving God in Thailand.
