LEDC ‘A’ Board meeting set for Noon Thursday

The Littlefield Economic Development Corporation Type A will meet at 12 noon Thursday, March 10, 2022, in the Chamber of Commerce Office, 601 E. 4th St. for the purpose of considering all matters and related incidents to the City of Littlefield.

Special presentation scheduled at Amherst Thursday, March 10

A special program is scheduled for area residents who would like to hear Jenny Cudd, a Midland Businesswoman who will speak of her experience as a Jan. 6 defendant. “January 6 Insurrection or Set-Up?” is the title of her presentation. The public is invited to go hear her at 7 p.m.

Ash Wednesday, like Good Friday, is a time to reflect on the reality, “I am a sinner.” Not all churches observe Ash Wednesday, which begins Lent - the penitential season before Resurrection Sunday. I have no problem with churches not observing Lent.
